Formerly known as the Donegal Community Center, after undergoing an immense renovation in the winter of 2016, The Donegal Event Center was established in the Spring of 2017. The Donegal Event Center is just that, a center that hosts a variety of events for those in the community throughout the year.
As we continue to grow, we hope to make more activities available for our children and young adults in the Laurel Mountains. Prior to the pandemic, we did host Friday night skating for all the children in the community, supported by CRCVFC. It was a great way to build friendships and have fun at the same time. Our goal is to maintain an environment where kids in the community can go for a fun, safe time.
The event center is also host to multiple fundraisers, parties, dances, craft and vendor shows, and weddings. In case of an emergency in the area, The Donegal Event Center is a pre-planned disaster building.
As always, we are continuously seeking volunteers and support from the community to help make these events possible and to develop new ideas for ways to give back to this wonderful community of ours.
